Founded by Tom Koulax at the corner of Beverly Blvd. and Rampart Blvd. in Los Angeles.
1970
Original Tommy’s began expanding to new locations. Five new stores were opened in this decade, bringing the brand beyond the original site.
2015
The business underwent a transition, starting a new era of growth while upholding our cherished traditional flavors and brand spirit.
2026
Since its founding in Los Angeles in 1946, Original Tommy’s has been loved throughout its long history. Building a reputation for unique flavor in the 1950s, we expanded the original site in the 1960s and grew our presence in the 1970s. Today, we have grown into a brand with 32 locations across Southern California and Las Vegas.
